Lindsay Vitovsky, CDFA™ is a native Texan who currently resides in the heart of Dallas, TX with her husband James. Lindsay was raised in Waxahachie, TX as one of twenty-one children, twelve of whom are adopted and have a physical and/or mental challenge.  Her orientation towards family and seeing the need for special needs financial care fueled her to start her financial career early on. She obtained her Texas Life, Accident, Health and HMO insurance license while still in her junior year at the University of North Texas’ College of Business.

Working as a life insurance agent intern at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Lindsay learned the ins and outs of life insurance and disability income. After graduating from UNT with her B.B.A., Lindsay went immediately to work as part of the Ayres Financial Group. Shortly thereafter, she obtained her Series 7 and 63 licenses and began co-teaching financial workshops for women with Frannie Gardner, CFP®. Both Frannie and Lindsay continue to teach these courses in the Dallas area, and the class schedule can be found at www.lifecyclefinancialplanninggroup.com.

Lindsay also obtained her certification as a CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST (CDFA™) in 2006, after seeing a demand for knowledgeable financial advisors to help with divorce. Lindsay helps her clients, male or female, work before, during, and/or after divorce to recover financially. Life isn’t over after a divorce, and neither is financial planning.

Lindsay obtained her Series 65 license in 2008 so that she could offer her clients fee based services. She has no qualms about compensation disclosure and will work with the client to agree upon the most cost-efficient way of carrying out their financial objectives.

Today, Lindsay continues to work as part of the Ayres Financial Group as a financial advisor, specializing in family, divorce, and special needs issues. She works for her clients from a comprehensive point of view, and stays away from transaction-type relationships. A trusted relationship is extremely important, and Lindsay’s ultimate goal is to help her clients achieve overall financial success.
